Ecom RSM-Ex 01 BT Zone 2 ATEX is available for GroupTalk users

You can now use such devices together with GroupTalk. In combination with GroupTalk on your smartphone and the RSM you can easily communicate with PTT.

This new ECOM Bluetooth Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) with ATEX Zone I/II provides users with the ability to have the phone tucked away in a pocket and still have immediate access to Push to Talk (PTT), Panic Alarm (SOS), Channel buttons, Media button and Volume buttons. 

The Panic Alarm (red SOS) button and the Channel buttons can be mapped to do other things than default, such as queue to dispatch, repeat last incoming message, toggle to favourite PTT group, select next group, etc. The SOS button can also be configured to alert your colleagues on their GroupTalk mobile devices (or any phone via SMS), GroupTalk PC Dispatchers and independent third-party emergency centrals. 

With a Bluetooth RSM ATEX Zone I/II you are "wireless" and there is no need for an annoying cable between your smartphone and the RSM!

GroupTalk is pleased to be able to provide this new ATEX PTT accessory in cooperation with Pepperl & Fuchs. The device is easy to use and feature rich. A listen only earpiece (3,5mm) can be connected for "silent" communication. Both iOS and Android devices are supported, but make sure to order the RSM ATEX with the correct firmware for either Andorid or iOS.
